DIP Socket Programming Adapters - Emulator Adapters - Prototyping Adapters

These adapters provide a DIP socket and plug into a DIP footprint on a device programmer or prototype board. Unlike other adapters, they do not convert packages, they let a device program in the footprint of a different device. An example is an 8051 programming as if it were a 27C256. Some DIP adapters are available with a choice of sockets, DIP ZIF or open-frame.
